How we read a stone
Soft lavender-purple color and an unusual triangular shape give this 1.85 ct sapphire a distinctive collector appeal. The stone is unheated and from Sri Lanka, two details that add meaningful interest beyond its attractive face-up appearance.
The cut is generally well balanced and lively, while fine internal needles and a small cavity near the table edge are visible on closer inspection. These characteristics are reflected openly in its Otzera 50 evaluation rather than hidden from view.
