9.42 ctw Custom-Cut Amethyst Pair

Rich purple color and an unusual architectural cut give this 9.42 ctw matched pair of amethysts a distinctive character. The stones weigh 4.73 and 4.69 ct and are closely matched in size, making the pair well suited for a coordinated jewelry design or gemstone collection.

Their custom shape combines a high, cabochon-like dome with numerous square and step-style facets, creating a checkerboard effect that looks very different from a conventional amethyst cut. The result is playful, sculptural and highly individual.
